As a dedicated Game Programmer at Twin Drums, I played a pivotal role in the development of the captivating afro-fantasy MMORPG, "The Wagadu Chronicles," built using Unity 3D.


DIVERSE ARRAY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the dynamic and close-knit environment of a small indie studio. my role extended beyond traditional boundaries, and I excelled in taking complete feature developments from inception to realization. Collaborating seamlessly with our visionary Game Designers and Artists, I transformed abstract concepts into immersive in-game experiences. This entailed a comprehensive process that encompassed everything from intricate Client and Server Networking behavior, Tooling for Level Designers to implementing game mechanics and visual elements.

Networking and Data Management

- Full-cycle feature development, establishing robust client-server communication using MLAPI.

  • - Continuously ensured data and gameplay integrity by implementing validation mechanisms against exploits.
  • - We achieved data persistence by securely storing character-bound information on our database.
